As a food enthusiast and professional home cook, I’ve always been driven by the chase for better flavors and higher standards. Growing up in the Detroit metro, and re-visiting as an adult, I found that I was spoiled with fast casual and modern variety of foods. Spots you could always count on for quality, creativity, and convenience.
When I moved to Midland, that variety was gone. To me, the food scene here felt stuck in the past. So I did what I do best and I took the least safe option possible. Instead of chasing comfort, I opened a kitchen in Midland, MI, and set out to serve the one group nobody thinks about: the late-night crowd.
The mission is simple: bring excitement back into Midland’s food scene. Raise the bar with care, quality, and standards this city hasn’t seen before and make it enticing, accessible, and available to everyone.
A major pillar of Club Noir is expression. Food here is never just assembly-line work. I hire passionate people who love to cook and give them the freedom to create. Specials aren’t locked to a board or a season, if inspiration hits, it’s on the menu.
